How does Amevo submit invoices to AADE myDATA?

Amevo connects directly to the AADE myDATA REST API using your credentials (User ID, Subscription Key and your VAT number). Issue, send, and cancel invoices in one tap, no need to log into the official timologio app.

Is Amevo free?

Yes. The base version is free forever and includes full myDATA support, Article 39a, and professional PDF invoices. The Premium subscription unlocks unlimited saved customers, products, templates, and recurring invoices.

What is Article 39a and how does Amevo handle it?

Article 39a of the Greek VAT Code (Law 2859/2000) lets eligible Greek businesses purchase certain goods and services without VAT (VAT suspension), through a one-time-password (OTP) flow with AADE. Amevo handles the entire OTP flow from your phone, buyer registration, OTP request, and then just provide the OTP to the merchant for your purchase.

Do I need an Amevo account to issue an invoice?

No. You can start issuing myDATA invoices immediately with your AADE credentials. An Amevo account is only needed if you want to save customers, products, and templates and sync across devices.

Is Amevo available for Android?

Not yet. Amevo is currently available only for iOS (iPhone). An Android version is under development and will be available shortly!
